📚 Bio
Chris Meah is the “AI Guy”, blending 15 years at the crossroads of artificial intelligence, tech entrepreneurship and inclusive education. After a background in AI graduating top of his class and achieving a PhD in computer vision at the University of Birmingham, he founded the award-winning School of Code — a pioneering free, 16-week bootcamp that has already launched 1,000+ people into software careers and widened the UK’s talent pipeline whilst also helping to inspire national government policy change.
His social impact earned him Digital Leaders’ “Digital Leader of the Year,” and he chaired the West Midlands AI & Future Tech Forum while advising organisations and mentoring people enabling them to turn AI from buzzword to business value.
Chris’s mission is to demystify AI, build human-centred products, push the boundaries of the cutting edge and design guardrails that make the technology work for everyone — ethically, sustainably and at scale. As a speaker and educator, he translates the fast-moving AI frontier into stories people can act on.
